End House
End House
Completed 2010
End House this newbuild house in South London is defined by a solid wall with minimal penetrations to bookend the site. This wall defends the house from the noise of the street, and is echoed by parallel wall enclosing the side yard which maintains privacy to the adjoining house. Between these two walls, an infill of timber and glass forms an entrance to the front and frames two large ground floor windows to the rear, focusing views out to the two garden spaces beyond.
The house is constructed with a timber frame, warmcell insulation and panel vent sheathing to create a breathing eco-construction with very high levels of insulation.
