Cantilever house is a newbuild, five bedroom single family home built on a vacant back-land plot in Dulwich, South London. Staggered massing over three floors and an extensive pure cantilever were designed to get the most accommodation on the site without compromising neighbour privacy, the existing mature trees and maximising the garden space. The house is made from concrete linear bricks, green zinc cladding with bronze accents framing large glazed openings. Internally a visual concrete atrium links the three floors with a spiralling cantilevered steel staircase rotating up through the void.
